The students in the K Kids Club at Meadowbrook Elementary School in East Meadow organized several activities to celebrate P.S. I Love You Day.
P.S. I Love You Day is a day to spread love, decrease bullying≥ and promote mental health awareness. The K Kids read books about kindness to students in grades K-2. Additionally, the K Kids delivered kindness grams to students throughout the school, and they helped to “chalk the walk” on the morning of Feb. 10 to welcome all students to school.
All students and staff wore purple that day, which promotes kindness and a welcoming environment, and educates others that mental health is just as important as physical health.
