On May 31, the eighth grade chorus and orchestra from WT. Clarke Middle School in East Meadow embarked on an enriching field trip.
The day commenced with engaging team-building activities led by physical education teacher Brittany Dougher, fostering camaraderie among the students. Later, they journeyed to Hofstra University where they collaborated with esteemed professors Adam Glaser and Dr. David Fryling. The students showcased their talents in performances and received valuable feedback during a clinic session. The day culminated in a dynamic life-size board game activity centered on teamwork and communication skills, further enhancing their bond and cooperation.
The event provided an exceptional learning experience for all participants, leaving a lasting impression on both students and teachers alike.
