On June 24, eighth graders at Woodland Middle in East Meadow celebrated three years of hard work during their moving-up ceremony at the Salisbury School.
Members of the Board of Education and administration were on hand to applaud this milestone in the students’ academic career. Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Rosner, Principal Kristi Detor, and Board of Education President Matthew Melnick addressed the students with words of encouragement.
Throughout the ceremony, Ms. Detor and Mr. Rosner recognized students with several academic awards. The district looks forward to the journeys of these students and wishes them luck and success at East Meadow High School.
