The East Meadow School District was excited to welcome its new teaching staff during their annual new teacher orientation program from Aug. 28-29.
Superintendent of Schools Mr. Kenneth Rosner, and central administration staff greeted the new teachers and welcomed them to the district. Additionally, Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Administration Mr. Anthony Russo explained the policies and procedures of the district.
Director of Social Studies & 21st Century Learning, Jim Mendonis, and Director of Literacy and Funded Programs Frank Lukasik led a bus tour of the district’s nine buildings. The duo educated the group about each building while sharing the district’s history and pointing out several famous places around East Meadow.
The district warmly welcomes their newest staff members and wishes them the best of luck.
