Rams marching band victorious in NYC Columbus Day Parade

The East Meadow School District commends the W.T. Clarke High School Rams Marching Band for showcasing their talent in two parades during Columbus Day weekend, one in Huntington and the other in New York City.

The students delivered impressive performances, featuring a patriotic medley and a selection of New York-themed tunes. They marched, played, and spun their flags with remarkable precision. For the second time in history, the band secured first place in New York City’s 80th annual Columbus Day Parade on Oct. 14. The district would like to congratulate both the students and staff for their dedication and hard work in achieving this recognition.

“The students devoted themselves over the past two months to create a polished, professional performance,” said Clarke band director Molly Tittler-Ingoglia. “I am incredibly proud of their progress and the level of excellence they reached. Their professionalism this weekend was truly exceptional.”

The district commends the Rams Marching Band for their success in the Columbus Day parades and looks forward to a fantastic remainder of the season.
